One of my favorite illustrated snakes from the book is the Baja California mountain king snake.
And, of course, I snuck in illustrations of my darling daughter Bethany holding a reticulated python's tail.. and my dear friend Neva's granddaughter Hailey holding up the longest reptile.
There is one unfortunate typo I want to acknowledge. I dedicated the book to my late mother Elsie, only it is accidently spelt Elise. I hope she understands.
